I wonder if the sender is sending the bare dollar sign or added something like a #-sign to it. I have tried different characters, just in case. This is the way I would use to communicate with a PC.īut here the Wait() is never satisfied so no data is received. What I think that should work is as follows. That works fine, but this simple PIC PIC communication is driving me nuts I am often using the wait() qualifier when I am using communication between PC and a PIC. If I change anything in either Serin2 or Serout2 command it stops to work altogether. I did what you suggested but it doesn't seem to work. I see clean 5V pulses on the Xmit/Receive pins of both PIC's during transmitīut the data received on PIC-B is either nothing (or 0) or complete rubbish.ĭoes anyone have a clue what I am doing wrong? The only thing I want to do is send 1 byte of data from PIC-A (PIC12F675) to PIC-B (PIC16F684).ĭoes not look difficult.but I cannot get it done.įor test I connected the Xmit pin of PIC-A to the Receive pin of PIC-B with a short wire (Later this wire will be exchanged for real RF transmitter en receiver)Īlso for test I am sending digital numbers 0 to 5. For days I have been trying to connect 2 pics using the serial commands Serin2 and Serout2.
